Signs of pregnancy

At the beginning of the week ( usually around the 14th day of the 28 day cycle ) , you are ovulating , one of your eggs out of its follicle and goes directly into the uterine tube .
In the next 12 to 14 hours, that egg will be fertilized if any of the 250 million sperm manage to ride all the way from your vagina, through the cervix and into your uterus through the fallopian tubes and it will penetrate into the egg. In the next 10 to 30 hours, the nucleus (core) of the sperm merges with that of the egg where they combine their genetic material.

If the sperm carries a Y chromosome, then you will have a boy (XY). If a man carries X chromosome that will be combined with the X chromosome of the mother (XX) and will be a girl. During the 3 day time the fallopian tube to the uterus, the fertilized egg (zygote) will divide into 16 identical cells.

Early pregnancy symptoms

Your Body in Week 2:

Your last cycle started before 12 to 16 days , which means that you are ovulating now or soon will be. So, from this point will be calculated the gestational week of the baby and the end date for delivery.
It is very difficult to deremine exactly when the egg and the sperm were united , doctors and obstetricians simply consider the pregnancy lasts 40 weeks starting from the first day of the last menstrual cycle.

Before you go into the bedroom you have to fill several tasks-check and specify the day of ovulation, check sexual positions that can contribute to successful pregnancy and even how it can influence the sex of the baby.

Finally , if you are trying to get pregnant , and you still have not stopped drinking alcohol , smoking and taking drugs ( even those obtained without a prescription ) it is time to do it, in order to bring your body into flawless form for making baby ( if you have prescribed therapy , check with your doctor whether it is necessary to receive ) and remember to take a daily dose multivitamin containing at least 400 micrograms of folic acid (preferably 3 months before planned pregnancy ) in order to reduce the risk of abnormality of the baby .
