The married couple Harold and Ruth had six children, 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Their love lasted 65 years.

Their children believe that this is not a coincidence, they believe, their parents wanted to be together in the other life like they were together in this life.The whole family sees their death as a continuation of their unbreakable love. The couple met during the Second World War and exchanged letters when Harold was on other continents.

They are married in Fort Recovery in Ohio, where they form family and grown their children. They have been devoted to each other, all the time.
They died on Sunday, August 11, only 11 hours apart. Harold died at 7.30 am on 91years, and Ruth died 11 hours later at 18.30 pm on 89 years.

They would have celebrated 66 years of marriage on August 20.
